Sprint car fans in Oklahoma have had April 23rd circled on their calendar since mid-December when the 2011 schedule was released and after much waiting and anticipation, the time has finally come for dirt to fly at the Salina Highbanks Speedway for Craig Dollansky and the rest of the World of Outlaws.
While the track is re-opened this year for the first time since 2006, it also marks the inaugural visit for the Outlaws at the 3/8-mile and their only visit to 'The Sooner State'. AM 1430 'The Buzz', Tulsa's Sports Station and Fox Sports Radio affiliate, is doing their best to get the word out about this big event and has invited Dollansky to join hosts Jeremie Poplin and Chris Plank this Thursday during their live sports show, 'The Big Show', which airs from 2-6 PM central time.
Sprint car enthusiasts of 'The Crowd Pleaser' will want to tune into AM 1430 just before 4 PM to catch the interview of the driver of the Big Game Treestands #7. If you aren't from the Tulsa, Oklahoma area you can listen to the live show on www.1430thebuzz.com, on Facebook at www.facebook.com/buzztulsa or on your smartphone through the iHeartRadio app.
AM 1430 'The Buzz' is home to MRN, PRN, and has covered multiple racing events ranging from the prestigious Chili Bowl to NASCAR, World of Outlaws, NHRA, and local racing.
