I-90 Speedway’s action was hot and heavy Saturday night with Jared Jansen, Brock Hess, Craig Hanisch and Dustin Gulbrandson taking home the hardware.

The Barger Construction Modified Madness feature event for the Great Western Bank USRA B-Modifieds lived up to its name. Four different drivers led the event. Jeff Wittrock led the opening lap before Nate Grehl took over the top spot on lap three. On lap five, it was Trevor Tesch taking over the lead. The next lead change was the final one, when Brock Hess took command and went to the $1,000 payday.

Jared Jansen claimed his first win in the Justice Fire and Safety IMCA Sprint Cars. This is his first win in the class and third win at the track – his first since 2007. Jesse Linberg was a close second just ahead of Brant O’Banion.

The T&R Contracting Late Model Street Stock feature also had multiple leaders. Dustin Gulbrandson led the first nine circuits before Craig Hanisch snuck to the inside and to the lead off turn two. The #45 would never look back taking his second win on 2019 and career win 49 at I-90 Speedway.

In the Lawn and Snow Company Hobby Stock feature, Dustin Gulbrandson wasted no time in charging from ninth to the lead. He took command of the feature on lap two and went on to his second win of the year and career win 15.

The next event is August 17 featuring the Paramount Racing Series.
