Gregg Leads 7 Industries No. 53 to Tulare For KWS Round No.2

Fresh off of his 7th place run in Antioch last weekend, Placerville’s Andy Gregg is set to head back to Thunderbowl Raceway for round two of the new Golden State King of the West Series.

“We got off to a great start last weekend in Antioch, and had just a little bit of bad luck that set us back for the feature,” said Gregg. “We started the season out in Tulare, so I am confident we can put together another good run.”

Heading into this weekends event, Gregg and his 7 Industries/Ervin Sales/Ott powered entry currently sit tied for fifth in the early season point standings.

During the season opener at Tulare with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour, Gregg had a stout top 10 run going when trouble broke out in front of him, and he was forced to go to the back of the field.

“I seem to be really good at Tulare, or just have horrible luck,” said the driver of the Wheel Vintiques/College Cyclery/The Hot Rod Shop backed entry. “With us chasing after the points in this series we’re all hoping that the Thunderbowl is nice to us.”

With a huge crowd expected at the racy 1/3 mile oval, we encourage all fans to arrive early as qualifying is slated to roll off at 6 pm, and racing action to immediately follow with the green flag dropping at 7 pm.
