Restrictors, out first. Ryder Laplante & Kaden Trotter lead them to the green. Right off the bat Conner Thomas finds himself tumbled over & back on all 4s. Driver checks out okay. Thomas's crew utilized the hot pit area & he re enters in time to compete. Back to green. Ryder Laplante out front. Jayton Brown in 2nd. Hailey Taylor 3rd. Rylie Yates & Evie Dean collect amongst each other. Dean tips over. A little crinkle to the wing, driver checks out okay. Laplante still out front. Brown still 2nd. Caiden Mitchell is giving Hailey Taylor a run for 4th. Checkers fly. Ryder Laplante parks his #88R in the Driven Performance Midwest victory lane!
Jr. Sprints, let's roll. Dalten Maust & Beau Chapman lead the field to the green. Finn McDade finds the hole & shoots for the front. Maust 2nd. Chapman 3rd. Cash Lacombe rounding out 4th. McDade begins to pull away. Maust finds his line & holds. Slowly, each lap Maust catches McDade. Several attempts made to pass. McDade shut the door. Patience. Maust gets the hole. Out front. Chapman still 3rd, reeling in McDade. Maust has his line & stretches it out. The #84 Dalten Maust parks it in the Driven Performance Midwest victory lane!
Nonwing 600s, it's time to dance! Preston Perlmutter & Jayton Brown lead them to the green. Caution right out the door. 2 attempts in & we get it. The track is tricky. But all lanes are wide open. Perlmutter is out front. Brown in 2nd. Mike Walling in 3rd. Walling passes into 2nd. Jacob Lucas on the move from 8th into now 3rd. Isaiah Garcia from 10th into 4th. Chase Hyland & Garcia are trading slide jobs, bumps & taps. Battling it out Bullring style in attempt to move forward. Matt McDade & Nick Groeneveld are right in there trading it up. The Bullring is in full effect. Walling under powered. Lands himself in the hot pit area. He makes it our repaired enough to roll. Unfortunately to the tail too. Lucas makes the move into 2nd, holds. Perlmutter still out front like a smooth, cool cat! Even through cautions, all racers have stayed on all 4s. Lucas is trying. But Perlmutter has it on lock down. Checkers roll. Preston Perlmutter parks his #42P in the Driven Performance Midwest victory lane.
We would like to extend the upmost gratitude to all racers, track staff, officials & crews who joined us last night @ The Bullring at Big O Speedway! The scorers struggled greatly to get the transponders to work. Causing delays through the night. Resulting in lots of hand scoring. Track staff was phenomenal & never once showed frustration. Thank you to all of the staff for getting us through it! Amongst small delays to allow racers double teaming. And dad's in 600s to strap in from taking care of their kid's racing too. Not a single complaint rang out. We appreciate your kindness, understanding & patience! In the end, the racing was pretty darn awesome! THANK YOU for being a part of it! We hope to see everyone tonight at BIG O Speedway! Maybe even a few new faces to take on the Big O!!
