Inside Line Promotions – WEST LEBANON, N.Y. (July 15, 2019) – Greg Wilson continued his consistency last weekend during a trio of Ollie’s Bargain Outlet All Star Circuit of Champions races in New York.

Wilson led his Hercules Tires, DNC Hydraulics, Ohio Logistics and Gear Off Road sponsored team to three top 10s to give him six straight top-10 finishes. Additionally, he was tied for the most cars passed in the feature on Friday at Utica-Rome Speedway; he earned the Hard Charger Award for passing the most cars on Saturday at Orange County Fair Speedway; and he passed the third-most cars on Sunday at Lebanon Valley Speedway.

“We have to get better early in the night,” he said. “We’ll make some changes in the next week or two focusing on that. We’re good late in the night to compete, but need to get a little better earlier. We’ve passed a lot of race cars the last three or four weeks. We’re making headway and the weather has been good enough lately that we’re getting some racing in so that’s helping our program.”

Wilson kicked off the weekend by charging from 17th to ninth at Utica-Rome Speedway in Vernon on Friday.

“The weather was threatening and the track ended up better than what anybody anticipated,” he said. “We were a little off early in the night. As the track widened out we were able to get by guys. We were pretty competitive throughout most of the feature. I’m happy with passing cars on Friday.”

Wilson made his debut at Orange County Fair Speedway in Middletown on Saturday. He powered from 13th to sixth in the main event.

“For a big race track it was pretty fun,” he said. “They had it really slick; slicker than anything I’ve seen in a long time. We were able to pass quite a few cars there. It was a pretty good race for us and the fact we were moving forward at the end of the race made me pretty happy.”

The weekend wrapped up with Wilson maneuvering from 12th to eighth on Sunday at Lebanon Valley Speedway.

“I hadn’t been there either,” he said. “It was really a cross between Williams Grove and Lawrenceburg – two places I’m not particularly good at. It got to a point where we were managing the night to try to get the best finish we could. We came out of there with another top 10 so I was really happy with that. I was glad to get out of there in one piece, too.”

Wilson shifts his focus to five straight World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series races this week. It begins on Tuesday at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio, for the Ohio Logistics Brad Doty Classic before the action shifts to Eldora Speedway near Rossburg, Ohio, for the Kings Royal event that runs Wednesday through Saturday.

“Ohio Logistics is the title sponsor of the Brad Doty Classic so there will be a lot of people there on the business side of things,” he said. “We hope we run well in front of a lot of people who help us out. Hopefully we give all the employees something to cheer about.

“The Kings Royal is my favorite race of the year. This is the one I look forward to every year. With what Eldora Speedway has done to grow the event is pretty cool. I’m looking for four good nights of racing there, but hoping we can get ourselves in position on Saturday. Also, Hercules Tires will have their event trailer at the Kings Royal. Hopefully we’ll get to be a part of that to help promote the brand.”
