DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (July 11, 2019) - Following the announcement on Wednesday afternoon about the cancellation of the NOW600 Lucas Oil National Micros at West Texas Raceway, NOW600 Series Founder, Terry Mattox went to work and has put together a two night event to save the weekend.
Happening on Thursday, August 1 and Friday, August 2 the NOW600 Lucas Oil National Micros will now take on the Creek County Speedway in Sapulpa, Oklahoma for the Hi Plains Building Division Small-Town Showdown.
Both nights will follow standard NOW600 Series format.
Thursday night will feature a standard first night event purse with the Top 4 locking into Saturday’s feature event.
Friday night will feature $1,000 to win events for both Winged A-Class and Stock Non-Wing with the Restricted ‘A’ Class Winner pocketing $500.
Both nights will feature the 600cc Modifieds and Dwarf Cars.
Friday night the Mini Stocks will make their return for Mini Stock Mania II paying $500 to win.
