KNOXVILLE, IOWA (April 4, 2011) - Former North American Non-Winged Sprint Car Poll “Drivers of the Year” Jon Stanbrough (2006, ’07, ’10), Levi Jones (2005, ’09), and Jerry Coons, Jr. (2008) have all officially entered the Sunday, August 7, Non-Winged Knoxville Nationals, which is sanctioned by the United States Auto Club (USAC). Knoxville Raceway’s Ralph Capitani said today, “This 26-car, 26-lap event, which pays $5,000 to win and $425 to start, is attracting the cream of the crop in traditional sprint car racing. With Coons, Jones and Stanbrough entered, along with Robert Ballou, Damion Gardner and Tracy Hines, we feel we already have the makings of one of the best non-winged sprint car fields for 2011.”
The official early entry list for the Sunday, August 7, event at Knoxville Raceway is as follows:
4, Tracy Hines, New Castle, Indiana
20, Levi Jones, Olney, Illinois
