CMR Racing is scheduled to head towards Circus City Speedway in Peru, Indiana this weekend. This will mark the first race for the team in the 2019 season. The team had a medical set-back with their driver Chad Orr during this past March. This delayed on getting the car completed and Chad was shut down from driving for 3 months and was just cleared to go back into the race car as of June 5th.
"I really had a good scare there on the first weekend in March. We had a great family day and later in the evening as we were winding down to put the kids to bed I felt a huge pressure in my chest. I thought at first it was maybe indigestion. When I laid down for bed the pressure increased. We then proceeded to go get checked out at Ball Hospital in Muncie. (Indiana)."
"They did all the standard tests and we are thankful for Dr. Savitt and his team along with Dr. Graham and his staff. I literally own those people my life. They saved my life without hesitation and made sure that my family and I were informed and they performed surgeries flawlessly to get me back in shape. The Ball Hospital Cardiac rehab center is also flawless. They got my endurance and strength back to 100% and I am ready to get back in the race car!" Chad Orr stated in the CMR Racing shop on Monday.
The team will be at PC Brick Oven Pizza in Marion, Indiana located at 2018 West 2nd Street on Saturday from 1pm to 3pm to meet and sign autographs for everyone who stops in. Stop in and see Stefanie and her crew and enjoy some of their delicious pizza from the famous brick oven!
The team would like to thank the following for their continued support in 2019.
Gillespie's Garage, Momentum Racing Suspensions, Ultra-Shield Racing Products,
