Tickets on sale for Chris & Brian Faria Memorial on April 16 at Groppetti Automotive Thunderbowl Raceway

Tulare, CA – March 26, 2011…Racing action will return to the always exciting Groppetti Automotive Thunderbowl Raceway in Tulare on Saturday April 16 and advance tickets are available now by calling the track office at (559) 688-0909.
The night of racing will mark the annual Chris & Brian Faria Memorial and showcases the Golden State King of the West 410 Sprint Car Series, USAC West Coast Wingless 360 Sprint Car Series and IMCA Modifieds in competition.
The Golden State King of the West 410 Sprints will headline the evening, as the tour makes its first appearance at the Tulare Thunderbowl since Dan Simpson assumed leadership of the group.
A strong field of entrants is expected to be on hand with the KWS Series that will include defending Faria Memorial winner Kyle Larson; Tim, Bud and Brent Kaeding; Jonathan Allard; Jason Statler; Tommy Tarlton; Brad Furr; Peter Murphy; Bobby McMahan and many more.
Campbell’s Bud Kaeding will also be searching to make it back-to-back wins with the USAC West Coast 360’s at the Thunderbowl, after racing to victory with the series on March 19 at the 1/3 mile clay oval.
