Well mother nature played some havoc in our plans this weekend by raining out BRRP for Saturday night. We were able to make our 1st appearance ever at Sheyenne Speedway in Lisbon ND and had a great time! I am definitely finding out that the Hyper car has a different feel from the Bailey we previously drove but it seems to really drive well. In the heat race we finished 4th and that put us in the 7th starting position for the feature. Pretty much stayed that way until a few laps to go we had a caution and a chance to regroup a bit. Made a pass of two cars for 5th place on the restart but after a lap slid off the back straight a little and gave the two spots back. All in all it was a good night, fun place to race and the car is in once piece and I learned some things to try and make the car better for next time. We did find an over heating issue and a oil leak issue that will have to be addressed before we can make the 3 nights of racing scheduled for this week beginning Thursday night in Ada MN.
