4th of July weekend just got a whole lot bigger, louder, and FASTER at Cottage Grove Speedway thanks to Travis Hoppes of Hoppes Construction! IMCA Sportmods, Mohawk Metal Modifieds, and Todd’s Auto Body Sprints will race to the checkers 3 nights in a row for over $35,000 in purse money!! In addition to regular main event payout each night there is $12,500 up for grab in the weekends point fund that will be paid out to the top 10 drivers in each class. The fun and exciting 3-day format will ensure that every time a driver hits the track they will be racing hard for every position. The overall point winner in the Sportmod class will take home an extra $1500.00 and the Frisbie Motorsports Freedom Cup Trophy. Mohawk Metal Modifieds and Todd’s Auto Body Sprints will each receive a top spot bonus of $1,000.00. In addition to the big paydays there will be lots of bonuses and contingencies up for grabs!
With 3 big days of racing brought to you by Travis Hoppes Construction and a HUGE 4th of July Fireworks show you won’t want to spend this year’s 4th anywhere other than Cottage Grove Speedway!
Early registration for the 3-day event can be made with Heather via email at heatherboyce14@hotmail.com or by phone at 541-729-8666, drivers registering before July 1st are $100.00 for the entire weekend including driver pit passes, drivers registering at the event will be $150.00.
IMCA classes will receive points July 4th & 5th
Format:
Night 1 - Pill Draw, Qualifying, Heat Races, Main Events – All receive points
Night 2 - Pill Draw (inverted from Night 1), Qualifying, Heat Races, Main Events – All receive points
Finale – Races lined up completely inverted by your best preliminary night point total
Bonus Money is paid out based off final points
