We are CANCELLING the USMTS show scheduled for tonight, due to oversaturated grounds.
We are going to continue working the track and infield so we can RACE FRIDAY NIGHT, JUNE 7.
No one is as disappointed more than us, as we’ve been advertising and promoting this event now 3 times this season, all falling to Mother Nature’s master plan. We’ll let everyone know if we can wedge in a night to race (82 Speedway has been in the same boat all 3 times, so maybe we can pair something together if a spot in their schedule opens). Again, we’ll let you all know.
For now, we’re proceeding ahead with tomorrow, Friday June 7th, as between today’s track drying and tomorrow’s, we should be just fine by then. Here’s all the details:

Purse and rules for the Dwarf Cars can be found at LSDCC.com while the Limited Mods will be racing for $750/win (THANK YOU to HEATH MARCH of MARSH TOWING & RECOVERY for adding $100 to 1st and $50 each to 2nd and 3rd), while the Factory Stocks will be paying $1,000 to win and $125/start…if 30 cars or more…and regardless $200 has been added to the winner’s haul from SMITH HEATING & AIR CONDITIONING of Lone Grove, OK. Note that in the Factory Stocks, a driver that is 100% IMCA Hobby Stock legal is allowed to compete with the Factory Stocks on June 7. The Mini-Stocks pay $400/win, while the Non-Winged Sprints pay $800 to win and $150/start.

Non-qualifiers or non-starters will receive $30 each in all divisions. If a driver chooses to compete in more than one division on the same night, the driver must purchase an additional pit pass per division entered. On regularly scheduled events, if 11 or fewer cars in a division are signed in, the posted purse structure for that division on that night will start at 2nd place pay and continue down from that point on. No one likes rain at outdoor sporting events. But if the races rain out before the completion of the heat races, hold on to your ticket stub, as it will be valid for the next scheduled race of same ticket price value (in other words, if tickets that night were $15, the next event you will have a $15 credit when you redeem your ticket stub from the previous event). The exact same procedure will be in effect regarding pit passes. If the races rain out after the heat races, the event is considered complete, and any remaining races will not be rescheduled and all drivers will receive start money for their scheduled division that night (for any of the feature events that rained out). There will be no grandstand tickets valid for a future date if races are rained out after the completion of the heat races, as it is considered a complete show.
