Inside Line Promotions – JACKSON, Minn. (May 27, 2019) – Jackson Motorplex officials are optimistic the 2019 season will kick off this weekend following a dormant holiday weekend preceded by two rainouts.
The 4/10-mile oval hosts Ag Builders Night presented by GDF Enterprises this Friday. It is also College Night, meaning all college students with valid identification get into the race for free.
The DeKalb/Asgrow presents the Midwest Power Series and Midwest Sprint Touring Series 360 sprint cars will compete in a $3,000-to-win, $400-to-start main event. Heartland Steel RaceSaver sprint cars presented by Wyffels Hybrids and NSL non-wing sprint cars presented by HitchDoc are on the program with each main event paying $500 to win.
The pits open at 3 p.m. with the grandstands opening at 5 p.m. Hot laps start the racing action at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $17 for adults, $12 for seniors and $5 for students ages 13-years-old to 18-years-old. Children 12-years-old and younger get in free. Pit passes are $35 for adults and $20 for children 12-years-old and younger.
Additionally, race teams are encouraged to sell their apparel under the grandstand prior to the races starting. Tables will be provided.
Children 12-years-old and younger can sign up at the souvenir stand by 6:15 p.m. for an opportunity to be selected the Junior Fan of the Night.
Fans can also earn a chance to win a Caribbean cruise presented by Exit Realty-Great Plains and Tom Holthe and Associates Construction with a lucky number program.
