Rio Vista, CA – March 7, 2011…Tickets for the much anticipated Golden State King of the West Sprint Car Series season-opener at the Antioch Speedway on April 9 are now on sale, with a special VIP access pass also being offered for the very first time.

By purchasing the VIP pass, race fans have the opportunity to sit in a special reserved area of the grandstands known as the “Rio Vista Delta Section,” and will also have access to the pit area to mix and mingle with the drivers and teams throughout the evening.

“Some of the tracks back in the Midwest have done this special ticket/pit pass combo package and it has worked really well so we definitely want to give it a try out here,” said KWS Managing Director Dan Simpson. “It gives all our great fans an opportunity to see what goes on in the pits and have the option to go back and forth from the grandstands.”

The special VIP grandstand ticket/ pit pass costs $45 and can currently be purchased at the King of the West Sprints office, located at 303 Main Street in Rio Vista, CA 94571. Tickets will also be available for purchase at various locations around Rio Vista, including “The Gym”, Tortilla Flats Mexican Restaurant, Napa Auto Parts, Pizza Factory, Hap's Bait and the Point Restaurant among others.

As an added benefit, those who have bought pre-sale tickets will also have a special “Will Call” admission line to stand in at the front gate, which will help alleviate the long line that is expected to be seen prior to the opening of the grandstands.
