King of the West production crew at Kaeding Performance today

Rio Vista, CA – March 3, 2011…The King of the West production crew will be on hand today at Kaeding Performance, gathering footage with 13-time Golden State 410 Series champion Brent Kaeding and three-time USAC Silver Crown titlist Bud Kaeding among others.
Jeff Shewmaker, Dean Mills and “Tailgate Rodriguez” are currently on the road and headed for Campbell to interview the legendary California racing family.
Brent Kaeding is the all-time winningest driver in Golden State Series competition, having claimed 83-career victory’s with the series and is coming off a year that saw him finish second in the standings to teammate Kyle Larson.
“BK” was also inducted into the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame in 2008 and will be in search of yet another title this season with the King of the West Sprints.
Bud Kaeding is coming off one of the most successful seasons of his career and tallied Golden State 410 Series wins at Watsonville’s Ocean Speedway and the Calistoga Speedway, which marked his first ever triumph at the historic half-mile.
The 31-year-old last year missed out on a record fourth USAC Silver Crown Series championship by just two-points, but also raced to big victories in August with the USAC National Sprints at Knoxville Raceway and the Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa, Iowa.

The Golden State King of the West Sprint Car Series will open the 2011 season on Saturday April 9 at the Antioch Speedway in Antioch, California.
