Powerful overnight rain has again forced the grand re-opening of I-90 Speedway will be pushed back one week. May 25 is now the scheduled opener as Coca-Cola presents the Paramount Racing Series.
"This weather is so frustrating for all of us at I-90 Speedway," said Rod Pattison, general manager of the track. "We need some dry weather. We're going to even the score eventually but right now it's Mother Nature 3; I-90 Speedway 0."
The May 25 season opener will feature early access for team with the pit gate opening at 2 p.m. Fans may also enter early at 4 p.m.
