Management at Jackson Motorplex has decided to cancel the Property Solutions of America Midwest Sprint Touring Series event for Friday, May 17.
“With the early morning rain and forecasted rain throughout the entire day and evening, the races for Friday May 17th are canceled,” read a post on the track’s Facebook page.
The event was scheduled to be the first of many MSTS and Midwest Power Series events scheduled together for the 2019 season at the Jackson, Minnesota, facility.
Up next for MSTS is a double-header weekend this Friday, May 24 at Rapid Speedway in Rock Rapids, Iowa. The tour joins up with the Carpet Land Nebraska 360 Sprint Series presented by Malvern Bank the following night at Park Jefferson Speedway near North Sioux City, South Dakota.
MSTS returns to the Jackson Motorplex on May 31.
