In racing there are a number of ups and downs, and unfortunately this week Eddie Strada found himself in one of those down periods. But, the third generation driver will not be down very long.
Strada has confirmed that he will continue his chase for the Rapid Tire, USAC East Coast Sprint Car Series championship behind the wheel of his family owned no. 42e machine for the remainder of the season.
The Lake Ariel, PA driver is off to a great start for the 2019 title chase nabbing two top 5 finishes, and being second in points behind defending series champion Steve Drevicki by only one point.
Strada grabbed his first official win in a sprint car last year at the New Egypt Speedway, but technically speaking he has had success behind the wheel of his family owned machine with the USAC series in the event last year at the Bedford Speedway.
The accomplished micro sprint, and now wingless 360 driver is exited for the upcoming weekend and the rest of 2019.
? Strada would like to thank: Sharkey’s Fuels, Grant Hilfiger Contracting, A-1 Engines, TSL Shocks, Howell Construction, Davis Powder-coating, Red Maples Golf Course, and Vogel Designs.
