Inside Line Promotions – SPRINGFIELD, Neb. (May 14, 2019) – Jack Dover is hopeful the weather cooperates better this weekend than last, when all three of his racing options rained out.
This week Dover is planning on venturing to Jackson Motorplex in Jackson, Minn., on Friday for a Midwest Power Series and Midwest Sprint Touring Series event before heading to Junction Motor Speedway in McCool Junction, Neb., on Saturday for a Carpet Land Nebraska 360 Sprints show.
Dover will drive for Rick and Chris Bowers at Jackson Motorplex, where he scored three feature victories and earned five podiums and six top fives in eight races last season.
“I’m pretty excited to go back there,” he said. “We had a lot of wins and good runs there last year. I think there will be stiffer competition this year because the races pay more, but I think we have a good chance at winning.”
Dover will be back in his own sprint car on Saturday at Junction Motor Speedway. He won both starts at the track last year.
“We had really good speed,” he said. “We’ll go back to our notebook and see how close our setup is and go from there.”
Dover enters the weekend with four top 10s in his last five races.
