Inside Line Promotions – AVON, Ind. (May 14, 2019) – James Edens led the Swindell SpeedLab eSports Team to a podium finish on Monday evening during the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series iRacing event at Williams Grove Speedway.
Edens’ third-place result was his sixth top five and eighth top 10 in the eight races this season. He continues to rank third in the championship standings – only six points out of second place and 80 behind the leader.
“Early on, there was a lot of moisture on the track, and you could run pretty much anywhere,” Edens said in a post-race press release by iRacing. “I think we just found the middle there in (turns) one and two, but at the end of the night we were way too loose. That’s why we were so good early on, but at just about halfway there it completely went away from us.”
Other A Main finishers for the Swindell SpeedLab eSports Team include: Chase Cabre posted his fourth top 10 of the season with a seventh-place run, Adam Elby ended 15th and Cole Cabre was 20th.
Elby ranks seventh in the championship standings – only 19 points ahead of Chase Cabre.
The second-to-final race on the World of Outlaws iRacing schedule is next Monday at The Dirt Track at Charlotte.
