Inside Line Promotions – AVON, Ind. (May 8, 2019) – James Edens remains in the hunt to produce the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series iRacing championship for the Swindell SpeedLab eSports Team.
Edens scored his fifth top five and seventh top 10 in seven races this season on Monday night during an event at Eldora Speedway. The fifth-place finish ranks Edens third in the championship standings – only four points behind second place and 68 out of the top spot with a trio of races remaining.
Edens’ run was the best for the Swindell SpeedLab team as Adam Elby placed 12th, Chase Cabre was 14th and Matthew McKinney ended 20th in the main event.
Edens and Cabre each won a heat race and Elby placed second in a heat.
Round 8 on the World of Outlaws iRacing schedule is next Monday at Williams Grove Speedway.
