Inside Line Promotions – HAUBSTADT, Ind. (May 6, 2019) – Kraig Kinser is gearing up for a World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series event at Eldora Speedway this weekend.
Kinser will compete at the half-mile oval on Friday and Saturday during the first two of six visits this season.
“I always look forward to going to Eldora,” he said. “It’s a big track and there’s a lot of history there.”
Kinser has been strong at Eldora Speedway throughout his career. He scored a pair of top fives and three top 10s there last season.
“You have to be fast every time you hit the track and you have to make the right decisions,” he said. “The start of the races are important. You have to minimize your mistakes to keep your momentum up. Then the track goes through a transition where it’s really, really fast to where it gets slick. You have to be there for both.”
Kinser enters the weekend ranked 10th in the championship standings.
A pair of World of Outlaws races last Friday at Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Ark., and Saturday at Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, Ind., rained out.
