WSS Heads to Madras Speedway This Saturday

By Jeremy Means

After 245 days, it looks like the Wingless Sprint Series will be back in action on May 4 at Madras Speedway. Madras Speedway is a very exciting ΒΌ mile bullring known for close racing, and the only venue on the east side of the Cascade Mountain Range for the WSS. Last Season wins at Madras were split between Eagle Creek, OR ace, Lindsay Barney, and the defending WSS Champion Rob Lindsey, out of Sherwood, OR. After such a long break, a lot of WSS drivers are chomping at the bit to get back on track, as only a few have been able to get some test n tune laps during the month of April. Should be an exciting visit to the central Oregon bullring, and one you should take advantage of. As this is the only event scheduled this season for the WSS at Madras Speedway.

Gates in the pits open at 2pm
Front Gates open at 4:30pm
Hot laps at 5pm
Racing at 6:30pm
