Bryan Hulbert – SAPULPA, Okla. (April 27, 2019) Getting the third round of Fast Five Weekly Racing Action in the books this past Saturday night, the lineup of winners all earned their first victories of the season at Creek County Speedway.
Making the biggest moves of the night, Blake Hahn captured the win in Champ Sprint competition with a race from 12th to the top in the Jerry McGhee owned No. 55h. Graduating from the Port City Micro ranks, Jase Randolph crossed second with point’s leader, Noah Harris in third. Alex DeCamp from 11th came up to fourth with Casey Wills making an impressive run from 14th to finish fifth.
Leading a family affair to the front of the field, Brandon Dean from sixth was trailed by Ho Dean for a one/two finish. Robert Scott third had James Esmond fourth with Chris Miles in fifth. Factory Stocks were topped by Cody McClain. Second went to Shawn Brownlee with Jimmy Owen, Chris Wilson, and Scott Wilson making up the top five.
Another driver having to come from deep for the win, Wesley Knebel advanced from the 11th starting spot for the win in Mini Stock action. Kenny Grumadas made the run to second with Josh Tyre, Justin Melton, and Adrien Hickman in tow. In Oklahoma 600cc Modified competition, the win went to Justin Fisk with Nigel Calvert, Ronnie Jones, James Waters, and Sam Stegeman making up the top five.
Weekly racing action returns Saturday, May 4 with Champ Sprints, Modifieds, Factory Stocks, Mini Stocks, and Dwarf Cars on the schedule for the Chuck Holmes Memorial.
Fast Five Weekly Series admission is $10 for adults. Youth 11-14 will be admitted for $6 and kids 10 and under get into the grandstands for free. Pits Passes are $30 (under 10 years of age is $15). Special Event prices will be posted to the Creek County Speedway website, as well as Social Media.
Spring and Fall events will open at 5:00 P.M. with Hot Laps at 7:00 P.M. and Racing at 7:30 P.M. During the Summer, Hot Laps will move to 7:30 P.M. with Racing at 8:00 P.M. (CT)
