NOW600 Mile High Region Kicks Off Season Saturday at El Paso County Raceway

DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (April 24, 2019) - The Mile High Region of the National Open Wheel 600 Series is set to kick off the 2019 season this Saturday night at the El Paso County Raceway in Calhan, Colorado.

Entering their second season under the sanctioning of the NOW600 Series, the Mile High Region will compete a total of 19 events with 17 held in Colorado and 2 in Western Kansas.

The NOW600 Tel-Star Technologies Mile High Region will feature Winged A-Class and Restricted 'A' Class Micro Sprints this Saturday.

Jared McIntyre captured the 2018 championship with Cory Kelly claiming the runner up spot and 2017 champion, Christian Galicia rounding out the podium.

Racing gets underway at 5pm on Saturday and will feature POWRi Warrior Sprint Series, POWRi Rocky Mountain Lightning Sprints, IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sport Mods, IMCA Stock Cars, IMCA Hobby Stocks, IMCA Sport Compacts and Dwarf Cars.

Adults are $15, Seniors (65+) along with Military (with ID)s are $10, Kids 6-12 are $5 with 5 & Under: Free
