Inside Line Promotions – SPRINGFIELD, Neb. (April 17, 2019) – Jack Dover will venture east this Saturday to invade the season-opening event at Knoxville Raceway.
Dover is set to pilot his 360ci winged sprint car during the first race of the season at the half-mile oval in Knoxville, Iowa.
“Our goal is to run a bit more at Knoxville this season when our schedule allows,” he said. “We have a pretty good handle on our setup there, but any time you can get laps at Knoxville it will help you come time for the Knoxville Nationals.”
Dover has produced at least one top-10 finish at Knoxville Raceway during nine of the last 10 years. He has three podiums, eight top fives and 15 top 10s during that span.
“Knoxville is one of the best tracks in the country so it’s usually really racy and there’s always a great group of drivers on hand so the competition is tough,” he said. “Whenever you run in the top 10 at Knoxville it’s been a good night.”
Dover’s best finish last year was a fourth-place run.
