Inside Line Promotions – AVON, Ind. (April 10, 2019) – The Swindell SpeedLab eSports Team produced another stout performance on Monday evening as four competitors finished within the top 10 during the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series iRacing event at Limaland Motorsports Park.
James Edens, who is fresh off scoring the World of Outlaws win last week, led the way with a runner-up result at the bullring. He finished 1.575 seconds behind race winner Alex Bergeron.
“It was hectic starting back in seventh,” Edens said during a post-race interview with iRacing. “The first lap there were a lot of guys trying to get everything they could, and I think we were three-wide the first three or four laps, then it settled down to two-wide for the next 15 laps.”
Swindell SpeedLab teammate Chase Cabre finished sixth with Matthew McKinney eighth and Adam Elby 10th. McKinney and Cabre both qualified in the top four and both won a heat race as well. Elby rallied from a crash in a heat race to transfer through the B Main and capture a top-10 feature finish.
