Officials with the Park Jefferson Speedway are pleased to announce a handful of revisions to the schedule. Per IMCA’s recent press release, the recent Dirt Knights schedule has already been released and with it, Park Jefferson will return to its original date of 2018 in hosting the opening of the mid July swing of the IMCA Dirt Knight tour. This exciting event saw over 48 IMCA Modifieds invade Park Jefferson for the 2018 edition and the 2019 version looks to be just as exciting. Drivers such as defending champion Hunter Marriott, Joel Rust and more will invade Park Jefferson to take on the Siouxland’s best such as Chris Abelson, Jay Noteboom and Bob Moore. Joining them on the card will be the J&J Fitting IMCA Stock Cars, IMCA Sport Modifieds and the IMCA Hobby Stocks.

Park Jefferson officials along with IMCA representatives are pleased to announce a new date has been added to the schedule with the Season Championship being added for August 3rd. This gives fans another week of exciting IMCA action in Sioux City and drivers another chance to make a run at the championship.

After discussions with drivers and sponsors, it was decided that the Park Jefferson Speedway will shorten the J&J Fitting Iron Cup to a single night on July 1st. This allows Stuart Speedway the opportunity to join the Arnold Motors Midwest Madness Speedweek and host the July 2nd night as part of their Ron Little Memorial. It also avoids the issue of fans and drivers having to pick which track to support.

“After discussions with Stuart Speedway officials along with Casey Jones of J&J Fitting and Roger Hadan of the Sprint Series of Nebraska, we felt it was best for the tracks to work together to provide the best overall situation for drivers and fans in the Western Iowa IMCA area. By relinquishing our night, it allows the Speedweek to avoid any of the tracks fighting over cars, which is to the benefit of all the racers and race fans that we all need to be successful” stated track General Manager Rod Olson. The Iron Cup will now be a single night event on Monday, July 1st with fans treated to an exciting special featuring $1,500 to win Artworks Graphics IMCA Modifieds and J&J Fitting IMCA Stock Cars along with the first ever appearance of the Sprint Series of Nebraska. This will also be night #3 of the first ever Arnolds Motors IMCA Midwest Madness Tour.
