Bellm Kicks Off 2019 Sprint Car Season with I-30 Speedway Double

Lonnie Wheatley, NIXA, Mo. (March 28, 2019) – Ready to get the 2019 Sprint Car season under way, Kyle Bellm and the Nixa, Missouri-based No. 14k Sprint Car team will make the journey to Little Rock’s I-30 Speedway for a pair of events this weekend.

The two-day affair that unfolds on Friday and Saturday atop the high-banked, ¼-mile clay oval is a combined ASCS Mid-South, ASCS Sooner and ASCS Lone Star event.

It will mark Bellm’s first I-30 Speedway action since the 2017 edition of the track’s famed Short Track Nationals.

“It’s one of my favorite places that I haven’t got a win at yet,” Bellm commented. “I’ve got a lot of top fives there and seconds and thirds, we just haven’t finished the deal. Hopefully we can make that happen this weekend.”

It will kick off a season of approximately 45-50 events with a varied mix of ASCS National and Regional events along with a few 410-ci starts mixed in as well.

“We’ll be able to pick and choose for the most part where we want to run and try to get as many wins as we can along the way,” Bellm comments. “And we’ll get to test the 410 waters a little bit too, it’s looking like it should be a really fun season of racing for us. We’re all excited about it.”

Bellm’s complete tentative schedule of 2019 events is available at http://www.kylebellm.com/schedule/.

Last year, Bellm racked up three wins among 14 overall top-fives and 19 top-tens in 31 starts.

“I feel like our 360 program is strong, we’re a top-five contender about anywhere we go so there’s no reason that we won’t add more wins this year,” Bellm concludes.

Bellm will be looking for that first W of 2019 this weekend atop the ¼-mile I-30 Speedway clay oval.

The Kyle Bellm Racing efforts are made possible with support from marketing partners including Greenworks Nursery, Landscapes Awarded, Christian County Collision Repair, Bybee Lawn Care, PPG Automotive Finishes, Colorvision, Schure Built Suspensions, Schaeffers Racing Oil and Park West Retirement Living.

2018 Quick Stats: 31 races, 3 wins, 14 top-fives, 19 top-tens.
