Marcus Thomas cashes in at the Gene Adamcik Memorial

Marcus Thomas took home the $1,200 first place prize Friday night at the Gene Adamcik Memorial. It is amazing that less than a year ago Marcus suffered a terrible accident in Louisiana competing in a sprint car event that could have been a career ending injury. His long road to recovery has been tough, but to see him in Victory Lane with Mary Adamcik and celebrating his road to recovery at the speedway was very inspirational and an emotional one. There were 30 Sprint Car Bandits on hand for the event and they put on one spectacular show for the large crowd in attendance. We cant thank the Sprint Car Bandits enough for the great racing action and the great fan interaction with the new Fan Fest prior to the racing action. We also cant thank the fans and drivers for coming out to the speedway to celebrate the great memory of Gene Adamcik and to have his wife on hand to celebrate with us as well.

Once again congratulations to Marcus Thomas for completing his road to recovery and winning the Gene Adamcik Memorial!
