Inside Line Promotions – DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (March 11, 2019) – The Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Tel-Star Technologies will venture to Port City Raceway this weekend for a marquee tripleheader at the bullring.

The oval in Tulsa, Okla., hosts the three premier series divisions – Stock Non-Wing, Winged ‘A’ Class and Restricted ‘A’ Class – Thursday through Saturday during the 3rd annual Oil Capital Clash and the 2nd annual Terry Walker Memorial.

Frank Flud enters the weekend leading both the Stock Non-Wing and Winged ‘A’ Class championship standings while Ryan Timms is on top of the Restricted ‘A’ Class standings after winning each of the first three races of the season.

Flud, Anton Hernandez and Chris Cochran have split each of the first three rounds of the Stock Non-Wing chase and Flud owns a 13-point lead over Jared Dunkin – the only other driver besides Flud to post a top five in each of the three races – in the standings.

Flud has captured all three Winged ‘A’ Class races thus far this season to build a 25-point advantage over Garth Kasiner in the championship standings.

A trio of victories has given Timms a 15-point edge over both Mason Daugherty and Ryder Laplante in the Restricted ‘A’ Class championship standings.

The NOW600 Series made its debut at Port City Raceway last year when it held seven races at the track. Cochran and Trey Robb are tied atop the Stock Non-Wing wins list with two NOW600 Series victories apiece at the oval. Flud leads all drivers with three Winged ‘A’ Class triumphs during NOW600 Series visits. Timms is the only two-time winner in the Restricted ‘A’ Class division during NOW600 Series competition there.

The pit gates open at 4 p.m. on Thursday and Friday with the grandstands set to open at 5 p.m. The NOW600 Series pill draw will be from 5:15 p.m. until the drivers meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. Racing is scheduled to begin at 7:37 p.m. each night.

Everything begins one hour earlier on Saturday with racing to kick off at 7:07 p.m. The night concludes with 27-lap main events in memory of Terry Walker.

The top four drivers in event points in each class following the two preliminary nights will lock into Saturday’s A Main.

Nightly tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for seniors. Children ages 10-years-old and younger get in free. Pit passes are $30 per person.

There will be a practice session from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday evening and there are other activities in addition to racing. A pit party and cornhole tournament will be held on Friday night after the races and the fan fest and kickball are slated for Saturday afternoon.
