DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (March 4, 2019) – Officials with the Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Tel-Star Technologies have announced a Triple Crown for the series’ Restricted ‘A’ Class division in 2019.

“Our Restricted class has been one of the most competitive classes we have under the series.” Commented NOW600 Series Founder, Terry Mattox. “It is not very often that they get much praise or run for bigger purses such as our A-Class and Non-Wing divisions, so I thought it was time to give them an event of their own.”

The Triple Crown format for the Restricted class will not differ from normal series format. Drivers will draw for a heat race, but they will not lineup according to their pill draw. A group qualifying session will take place during hot laps and their time will set their heat race lineup with a four-car invert. Depending on how many heat races are contested will determine how many cars transfer into the A-Main. B-Main will be lined up straight off how you finish in the heats, while the A-Main will lineup based off time with a six-car inversion.

If a driver can win all three Triple Crown A-Mains they will walk away with $1,500.

Lucas Oil NOW600 Restricted 'A' Class Triple Crown Schedule:

Saturday, May 18: I-30 Speedway – Little Rock, Arkansas
Saturday, July 6: Arkoma Speedway – Arkoma, Oklahoma
Saturday, October 19: Caney Valley Speedway – Caney, Kansas

Each night will pay regular Restricted ‘A’ Class purse of $300 to win and $40 to star the A-Main with $30 for any driver that does not make the A-Main.

For National Series drivers, all three triple crown races will pay a bonus towards each of your end of the season loyalty bonus if you run 100% of the 2019 Lucas Oil NOW600 National Series schedule (excluding the June 2 and July 9 non-point races.)
