Hedman Husler Going Sprint Car Racing and the Hedman Husler Sprint Car Sweepstakes

Alpharetta, GA (January 3, 2011) Hedman Husler Hedders announced during the 2010 PRI Show in Orlando they will be going Spring Car Racing in 2011 as well as announcing their Sprint Car Sweepstakes. The announcement was made opening morning of the show at the Hedman Performance Group booth with manufacturers, media and racers in attendance.

Chris Vandergriff, General Manager of Hedman Husler, got the festivities underway along with "emcee" Dennis Michelssen of RaceTalkRadio.Com with a warm welcome and appreciation for attending the event. Vandergriff stated, “Hedman Husler’s evolving and thriving oval track program is certainly attributed to allying ourselves with successful teams and engine builders. We have been able to apply their invaluable on track feed-back to our new line of dirt and asphalt products. The result is a new, higher standard for quality and performance in oval track race hedders. I definitely appreciate The Husler Research and Development Teams dedicated effort for the past two years thus allowing us to bring you the some of the finest oval track products in the industry.”

The excitement continued to build with introduction of Alan Barton, longtime sprint car builder and owner, who the Husler Team has worked closely with in the development of the new sprint car hedders and just so happens to be the new partner of Alan Barton Motorsports Hedman Husler #7TW Sprint Car Team with Brandon Wimmer up on the wheel. Barton expressed his excitement and appreciation regarding the newly formed venture and looks forward to a great 2011 race season with Brandon and the team. Barton also added, “I'm very pleased with the new Husler Sprint Car Hedders and will continue to work closely with the Husler R&D Team in the development of new product for the sprint car market.”

Up next was the intro of Brandon Wimmer in his new Simpson Racing Suit and custom helmet showcasing the team colors and logo! Brandon was “all smiles” as he made his way front and center. Dennis Michelssen of RaceTalkRadio.Com greeted him for some questions and answers. Brandon expressed his appreciation and excitement to Alan Barton and Hedman Husler for the opportunity to be behind the wheel of the #7TW. When asked about the famous #7TW Brandon replied, "I'm excited to keep the family #7TW going. We're going out on the road with a true Outlaw schedule. We plan on hitting some big shows with the 410, and also going to some more 360 shows as well. I think we showed in 2010 that we can be a team to be reckoned with.”

Buying a set of Hedman Husler sprint car headers could get you a new sprint car in 2011. Buyers of Hedman Husler sprint car headers will be put in a drawing for the giveaway car...a Eagle chassis supplied with a Gaerte 360 engine.

Last but certainly not least was the unveiling of Sprint Cars….the Hedman Husler #7 Sweepstakes Car and the #7TW Alan Barton Motorsports Hedman Husler Car was met with a generous round of applause.

About Hedman Husler

Hedman Husler is part of Hedman Performance Group comprised of Hedman Hedders, Trans-Dapt and Hamburger’s Performance Products. Hedman Hedders, began as a one man shop in 1954. Bob Hedman, founder of Hedman Hedders, sold his highly sought after exhaust tubes to fellow racers on the salt flats of the Mojave Desert. But, what started out as a way to make a few bucks to pay for Bob’s racing hobby, quickly turned into the premier hedder manufacturer for both the racing and street hedder marketplaces.

Originally designed for straight-line drag racers, word spread quickly about Hedman’s reputation for building hedders that gave you the best boost in power for your dollar. It wasn’t long before Hedman Hedders was the brand of choice among racing’s elite engine builders, racers and race series. Familiar names like Don Garlits, Warren Johnson, Shirley Muldowney, Bob Chandler and his BIG FOOT Race Team, and the IROC series.

Hedman Hedders constantly reshapes itself to meet environmental requirements and incorporates computer technology to ensure that its products offer the best performance improvement.

Whether you’re a Pro or sportsman racer, Hedman Hedders builds your hedder with one goal in mind, optimum performance. Even if you’re not a racer, the lessons Hedman learns at the track and on the dyno make it into every street hedder we design.
