Inside Line Promotions – CARROLLTON, Mo. (Feb. 25, 2019) – Mason Daniel is thrilled to announce BTC Bank is partnering with his race team throughout the 2019 campaign.
“BTC Bank has nine full-service locations in Missouri and one in Iowa,” he said. “One of their locations is in Carrollton, Mo., which is where our race shop is located. We’ve quickly learned how great their service and reputation are, and we’re excited to have them as part of the team.”
Daniel is slated to return to World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series competition this Wednesday and Thursday at The Dirt Track at Las Vegas in Las Vegas during the FVP Platinum Battery presented by Star Nursery. It will be his debut at the half-mile oval.
“I watched Vegas last year so I’m excited to race there this year,” he said. “I got to see how the track races. This year I’ll have Danny (Lasoski) with me so I’m sure he’ll give me some insight when we get there.
“I was impressed. It was my first time seeing a half mile like that. The track has some character to it and I was told the wind will make a big difference. That’s something I’ll have to watch out for.”
Most of Daniel’s limited 410ci winged sprint car starts have come on half-mile ovals, which is the dimension of the track where he’s recorded both of his 360ci winged sprint car feature victories.
“I’m excited to see how we stack up,” he said. “It seems like we run better on half miles or the big tracks. I don’t know if I’m better with more speed. I don’t know if I’m smoother or necessarily what it is. I feel more comfortable at higher speeds.”
Daniel was scheduled to race with the World of Outlaws in Texas last weekend, but events on Friday at Cotton Bowl Speedway in Paige and on Saturday at LoneStar Speedway in Kilgore rained out.
