Palmerston North Hosts Second 2011 Premier Chevy Dealers Knoxville World Challenge Qualifier This Monday

KNOXVILLE, IOWA (December 31, 2010) - The Robertson Holden International Speedway in Palmerston North, New Zealand, will host the second 2011 Premier Chevy Dealers Knoxville World Challenge international qualifier this Monday, January 3, 2011. Amongst the early entrants are Americans Sammy Swindell of Tennessee, Ricky Logan of Arkansas, Jonathan Allard of California, and Tommy Tarlton of California; Australian Peter Murphy of Queensland; and past New Zealand champions Dean Brindle and Jamie McDonald. The 25-lap feature will pay $4,000 to win, with all competitors qualifying for the $10,000-to-win Premier Chevy Dealers Knoxville World Challenge on Friday, August 12, during the 51st annual Goodyear Knoxville Nationals, presented by Lucas Oil, at Knoxville Raceway.

Amongst the other New Zealanders that have confirmed their attendance for the PartsWorld International Sprintcar Challenge are Ryan O’Connor, Hans Boere, Greg Pickerill, Ian Easton, Brent Harris, Nelson Hartley, Marty Halcrow, and Chris Uhlenberg.
