26 Promotions – Albuquerque, NM – (February 21, 2019) – Following a strong reunion with SEH Motorsports at the end of the 2018 season, Spencer Hill will return to the Rio Rancho-based team for the 2019 Sprint Car season in the New Mexico Motor Racing Association, along with other select shows. The car will feature the number 11w and will have Grammy’s Kitchen as the primary sponsor.

“I am absolutely thrilled to return with SEH Motorsports,” Hill said. “As a team, we had a few struggles at the end of last season, but I felt like we were improving overall performance each week. Over the offseason I have been training harder than ever to make myself the best I can be, and over at the shop we have made major improvements as a team as well.”

One of those major improvements for this season will be a brand new 2019 J&J Auto Racing chassis.

“This is actually going to be the first time ever in my career where I will be behind the wheel of a brand-new race car, which is very exciting to me,” stated Hill. “Before this, from go karts all the way through last season in the Sprint Car, I have always driven pretty used equipment and been forced to stretch my resources. In a sport where technology changes so rapidly, this will be a notable benefit for myself and the SEH team moving forward.”

This will also be the first time in over a decade where Hill will be in contention for a series championship. Prior to this, Hill’s last run at a championship was in 2008 for the Arizona State Championship through the International Karting Federation. Hill was crowned champion that year and since has run his own ‘outlaw schedule’ every year after.

“The opportunity to stay closer to home and run for the NMMRA Championship was intriguing,” continued Hill. “I really haven’t ever been known as a ‘points racer’ and that has been by choice because running for a points championship can get stressful at times. I have had good luck early in my career while points racing, however, and I’m stoked to see how this SEH Motorsports team and myself handle that pressure.”

Grammy’s Kitchen will again adorn the side of the No. 11w as the primary sponsor for the full 2019 season, which will kick off April 13th for the Car Crafters Season Opener at Sandia Speedway.

“It might sound cliché at times, but I truly cannot put into words how much it means to me to be a part of this family team with Pat and Truman West as my owners. They have done so much for me over the years, and I am going to do everything I can to make them proud this season and get their car back in victory lane where it belongs,” concluded Hill.

Spencer Hill would like to thank Grammy’s Kitchen, SEH Motorsports, VP Racing Fuels, Hassell Racing, Bell Racing Helmets, Matt’s Mobile Detailing, and Wheels Up Wednesday for their support this season.
