Bryan Hulbert – SAPULPA, Okla. (February 21, 2019) The 2019 season opener at Creek County Speedway is just under a month away, and the track is opening with two high profile events.
Starting off Thursday, March 21, the POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget League will open their 6th annual Turnpike Challenge at the quarter-mile oval with the nation’s top Midget drivers making their way back to the Tulsa area just a couple months removed from the Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals presented by General Tire. Among those on the roster is the reigning Chili Bowl Champion, Christopher Bell.

Giving fans a breather on Friday, Creek County Speedway goes green again on Saturday, March 23 with the return of the Ameri-Flex Oil Capital Racing Series (OCRS) for the first time since 2008 with the best Champ Sprint drivers from across the region taking on Creek County Speedway.
Both nights of racing go green at 7:00 P.M. (CT) with admission each night $20 for adults. Youth 10 years and younger get in for free. Rain dates for each event are the following Thursday, March 28 with POWRi and Saturday, March 30 with OCRS.
