Bryan Hulbert – TULSA, Okla. (February 20, 2019) Never to early to plan a trip to Tulsa, dates and class information for the 35th Lucas Oil Tulsa Shootout have been finalized with the 2020 event taking place Wednesday, January 1 through Saturday, January 4 under the giant roof of the River Spirit Expo Center.
Leading up to the opening day of morning practice and evening Heat Races, early parking will take place on Monday, December 30, 2019, with all teams moving in on Tuesday, December 31, 2019. Details regarding early parking will be released as the event nears.
Entry for the “Mecca of Micros” will begin Tuesday, September 24, 2019, with the discounted $100 entry fee per class going through Tuesday, December 3, 2019. Starting Wednesday, December 4, 2019, the fee per class goes to $125 with all early entry cut off on Wednesday, December 18, 2019. After that, teams will be able to enter at the event during move-in on Tuesday, December 31, 2019, with all entries coming to a stop at Noon on Wednesday, January 1, 2020.
The 35th edition of the Lucas Oil Tulsa Shootout will see no change to the class lineup with A-Class (Wing, Non-Wing, and Restricted), Outlaw (Wing and Non-Wing), and Junior Sprints as well as the new Oklahoma 600cc Modifieds in action. For all classes, RaceCeivers are mandatory. Frequency will be 454.000.
