The IRA sanctioned AutoMeter Wisconsin wingLESS Sprint Series presented by Gandrud Chevrolet Performance Parts is proud to announce their 30 race 2019 schedule. The series which had the most growth of any sprint car series in the country over the past two years, will open their 5th season April 20th at Beaver Dam Raceway as part of the Jim Wipperfurth Memorial sharing the card in the all open wheel with the Bumper To Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint Series, and the Badger Midgets.The same trio returns to Beaver Dam Raceway Sept 14th for the Scott Semmelmann Memorial.
Wilmot Raceway, which is the Saturday night home of the series, will host 19 series dates beginning April 27th. The group which is based on a 2-engine option, will have several special events at Wilmot including playing part of the support role for the NOS Energy World of Outlaw Sprints July 13th, running with their big brother Bumper To Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprints May 4, June 15, Aug 3, and Aug 17 during the Kenosha County Fair. The series will also be on the Wilmot Raceway card May 17th for the big Friday show featuring the Ollie's Bargain Outlet All Star Circuit of Champions / Bumper To Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprints co-sanctioned event. The WI wingLESS gang will also combine at Wilmot with the Badger Midgets July 6th, and share the card with the WIMS Mini Sprints 15 times. Wilmot Raceway which has a proud open wheel history is the weekly home of both the AutoMeter WI wingLESS Sprints and the WIMS Mini Sprints.
The historic Angell Park Speedway has four WI wingLESS dates on their traditional Sunday schedule as they share the card with the Badger Midgets June 23, Aug 4, and Sept 1. The AutoMeter WI wingLESS Sprints will again proudly participate in Angell Park's big Pepsi Nationals event with the POWRI National Midgets July 7th.
The popular 141 Speedway has all three IRA groups, the Bumper To Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprints, AutoMeter WI wingLESS, and WIMS Mini Sprints together for a pair of Sunday night shows, May 26, and June 30.
Minnesota's Jackson Motorplex, one of the finest dirt track facilities in the country, who has adopted a very similar rules package for its' non-wing class as the WI wingLESS is bringing the two groups together for the Open Wheel Nationals Sept 20-21 for a 2-day affair. And Wisconsin will be well represented as their 410 IRA Outlaw brothers are going too. 305 sprints will complete the three sprint division spectacular.
The AutoMeter Wisconsin wingLESS Sprint Series presented by Gandrud Chevrolet Performance Parts will conclude their 2019 campaign Saturday Sept 28th at the Plymouth Dirt Track with the 3rd annual Wisconsin Sprint Car Championships which includes IRA's Outlaw 410's and WIMS Mini Sprints, plus the MSA/PDTR 360's.
