Bryan Hulbert – TULSA, Okla. (January 26, 2019) Marking the 20th anniversary for the Warrior Region of the American Sprint Car Series, the 2019 slate will see 26 nights of racing on tap across Missouri with stops in Kansas and Iowa as well.
To kick off the series 20th season, the ASCS Warrior Region will also roll out a new title sponsor as Racinboys.com has stepped up to support the Missouri based region. Returning as the series presenting sponsor, Impact Signs, Awnings, and Wraps will continue to support the ASCS Warrior Region, as well as supporting tracks and events throughout the area.
"We're excited to be able to give back to Missouri Sprint Car racing," commented Scott Traylor. "We support all of ASCS, but being that the Warrior Region is based so close to home, we could turn down the chance to be able to be a bigger part in helping the series continue to be successful. Larry (Hol) and his team are top notch."
Slated for competition at 10 tracks in 2019, the Racinboys.com ASCS Warrior Region presented by Impact Signs, Awnings, and Wraps will spend most of the time in the “Show-Me State” with 22 nights of racing within Missouri borders.
Lake Ozark Speedway in Eldon, Mo. appears on the schedule the most with a half-dozen nights of racing, including Memorial Day and Labor Day Weekends with the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series National Tour. The series will also be at Lake Ozark Speedway Independence Day Weekend as well as the 2019 season finale. Five nights on the lineup. U.S. 36 Raceway will be a Friday night destination in once a month from April through July with the final appearance of the season in September.
With construction underway to revitalize I-70 Speedway, the famed oval will see action with the Warrior Region four times. Taking on four nights as well, Lucas Oil Speedway will host the Regional Tour May 4, along with the Lucas Oil POWRi National Midget League and WAR Sprints. Three nights to complete the Sprint Car lineup at the “Diamond of Dirt Tracks” the 9th annual, $10,000 to win, Hockett/McMillin Memorial takes place September 19, 20, and 21.
Three trips into the state of Kansas, two of those will take place Heartland Park Topeka on May 17 and July 20. The third will be during NASCAR Weekend at Kansas Speedway as the National Tour returns to Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kan.
With single night visits on the docket, Legit Speedway Park will pair with the ASCS Mid South Region to open the season on April 6. Randolph County Raceway follows soon after on April 27. The final act of the Missouri State Fair, the series rolls into Sedalia, Mo. on August 18. Joining with the National Tour to make it a three-day stretch that leads into Lake Ozark Speedway, the series will debut at 34 Raceway in West Burling, Iowa on August 30.
