RULE UPDATE: NOW600 Non-Wing, A-Class and Restricted Divisions

DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (January 24, 2019) - After further testing and diagnostics, the engine rules for the NOW600 Stock Non-Wing, Winged A-Class and Restricted 'A' Class have been updated for the 2019 season which will allow the new Engler Mechanical Stock Injection with Stock throttle bodies to be allowed in series competition in 2019.

"We do not like to change any rules once we post them." commented NOW600 Series Founder and Director, Terry Mattox. "With NOW600 being the National rule setter for the Stock classes across the country, we have decided to amend this rule in the spirit of safety for all competitors."

The reason for the mechanical stock injection with stock throttle bodies to be legal in NOW600 Series competition is for the safety of it. There is NO advantage between the Engler and Guhl injections as far as performance wise.

The new Engler injection with stock throttle bodies will stop the fuel pump if the motor stops.

Another new addition to the NOW600 Series rulebook will be PE3-IG2 and PE3-8400 units allowed in all classes under the sanction of the NOW600 Series.

You can find all the rule changes for the 2019 posted highlighted yellow and italics.

The following above is the only change to rules from 2018 to 2019 when the rule book was published in November.

We at NOW600 apologies for the inconvenience and look forward to seeing everyone in Greenville on February 15-16.
