World of Outlaw Sprints Visit Lake of the Ozarks twice in 2019

CONCORD, NC — January 9, 2019 — The 2019 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series schedule is growing to include a second event next season at Lake Ozark Speedway on Saturday, October 19, to go with the previously scheduled race on Friday, April 26.

It will mark the first time in history the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars have raced at Lake Ozark twice in the same season. With the schedule winding down in the fall, Lake Ozark will no doubt play a key role in determining the series champion.

“We can’t wait to see the Outlaws come to Lake Ozark in April, but then to have them back again in October will be extremely special,” said Lake Ozark’s Tim Trimble. “The fans here are eager to see all of the Outlaws put on a show like none other.”

In October, the series will be coming from Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, KS, to Lake Ozark to create a unique Midwestern appearance with significant points on the line for the championship.

“We enjoy racing at Lake Ozark Speedway and all of the amenities in the surrounding Lake of the Ozarks area,” said Series Director Carlton Reimers. “To be able to race there twice in 2019 is very special and we are certainly looking forward to it.”

Tickets for events at Lake Ozark will be available on February 2 at WorldofOutlaws.com or by calling 844-DIRT-TIX.
