IMCA to sanction RaceSaver Sprints at I-90 Speedway

When racing returns to Hartford, South Dakota, this May, it will feature the largest sprint car sanctioning body in the nation. IMCA will sanction the RaceSaver Sprint Cars, part of I-90 Speedway’s weekly paramount racing series.

IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars raced at the 3/8 mile dirt oval in 2015, the last year the track was open. Colin Smith took the season title. The Sheldon, Iowa, native had five feature wins during his track championship campaign.

The return of IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars is a natural fit for the reopening of I-90 Speedway. I-90, as well as Huset’s Speedway, was instrumental in adding the cost-effective and exciting class to South Dakota in 2015. IMCA’s sanctioning gives drivers the ability to compete for the track title as well as state and national championships with IMCA.
