After ending the 2018 season strong, Chris Wilner will close out the 2018 season in the largest micro sprint event of the year. the 34th annual Tulsa Shootout.
The news comes after a solid 2nd place finish and team 1-2 at the season finale at Circus City Speedway in Peru, IN. That weekend, Chris also hard-charged from 12th to 6th at Kokomo Speedway in night 1 of the Kokomo Klash.
Chris will continue to run both outlaw wing and non wing classes for George Estep and Estep & Co./Start to Finish Racing during the Shootout that runs Jan. 1-5 2019. Golden Drillers are on the line as over 600 competitors will convene on the River Spirit Expo Center in January.
Joining Chris will be Jessee Hold who will pilot the Team Subway machine in both classes as well. Josh Travelstead will continue to be lead crew chief for both cars.
