DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (November 29, 2018) - The 2019 slate for the Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Tel-Star Technologies is set for a record setting 34 nights of action across three states and visiting nine facilities.
Over $15,000 is on the line for drivers competing for the NOW600 National Title along with nightly appearance money and added loyalty bonus money at the conclusion of the 2019 season.
$2,000 a piece is on the line for the driver that can pick up the 2019 Stock Non-Wing and Winged A-Class National titles while the Restricted 'A' Class champion will walk away with a staggering $1,000 grand prize.
Out of the 34 events, 32 will be National point races with the other two being non-points "Joker Series" events.
All 32 point nights will feature the Stock Non-Wing, Winged A-Class and Restricted 'A' Class in competition.
The 2019 season will kick off with a double header weekend at Superbowl Speedway in Greenville, Texas on February 15 and 16 for the Texas Short Track Opener.
Arkoma Speedway in Arkoma, Oklahoma will play host to the NOW600 Lucas Oil National Micros on five occasions with the first two on Friday-Saturday, March 1 and 2.
Red Dirt Raceway in Meeker, Oklahoma will welcome the touring titans three times during the season with the first two showings on Saturday-Sunday, March 9 and 10.
The following week Terry Mattox Promotions presents the 3rd Annual Oil Capital Clash and Terry Walker Memorial at Port City Raceway on Thursday-Saturday, March 14-16 with a practice night on Wednesday, March 13.
A short pause in the action for some early season R&R and the series will return to the Superbowl Speedway on Saturday, April 6.
Creek County Speedway in Sapulpa, Oklahoma will host the 600cc machines on Friday, April 12 and again on Friday, May 10. Both nights will also feature the ASCS Sooner Region Sprint Cars.
The series will head back to Port City Raceway in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Saturday, May 11.
Memorial Day Weekend will take the teams to the wild west as TBJ Promotions presents the Midget and Micro Roundup on Saturday-Sunday, May 25-26 at Airport Raceway in Garden City, Kansas.
The month of June will kick off at Creek County Speedway on Sunday, June 2. This will be a non-point "Joker Series" event.
West Texas Raceway in Lubbock, Texas will host the touring titans on Friday-Saturday, June 7 and 8 for a Texas sized showdown. More information and purse details will be released soon. This will be an event you do not want to miss!
Sooner 600 Week expands to five nights of action. Caney Valley Speedway in Caney, Kansas will open the week of speed on Wednesday, June 12. Thursday night the teams head south to Creek County Speedway in Sapulpa, Oklahoma followed by a Friday night showdown at Red Dirt Raceway in Meeker, Oklahoma with Port City Raceway in Tulsa on Saturday and rounding out with Arkoma Speedway in Arkoma on Sunday.
Two double header weekends and a special Tuesday night event will make up the month of July.
Arkoma Speedway is up first on the docket with the 2nd Annual Stars and Stripes Shootout on Friday-Saturday, July 5-6.
Tuesday, July 9 the Red Dirt Raceway will play host to Tuesday Night Thunder which will feature the USAC P1 Insurance National Midgets and the NOW600 Stock Non-Wing division. This will be a non-points event in the NOW600 "Joker Series"
Port City Raceway will host the Inaugural Stock 600 Nationals that will showcase the NOW600 Lucas Oil National Series on Friday-Saturday, July 19 and 20.
Friday, August 23 the series treks back to Creek County Speedway in Sapulpa, Oklahoma for the final appearance of 2019.
Labor Day Weekend will be spent at Port City Raceway for the 20th Annual Pete Frazier Memorial.
Saturday, September 7 the series makes its final appearance at the Superbowl Speedway.
Caney Valley Speedway returns to the fold on the Fall Break weekend on October 18 and 19 and will round out the 2019 season where we will crown our 2019 Lucas Oil NOW600 National Champion.
