Concord, NC—October 21, 2010— The Fourth Annual World Finals at The Dirt Track at Charlotte in Concord, North Carolina is quickly approaching, November 4-6 for the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series, along with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series and the Super DIRTcar Series Big Block Modifieds. In the 15 days leading up to the three-day action packed season ender, World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series drivers will share their thoughts on what has become one of the “Must See” marquee events of the year.
Next up is Ben Gregg, who made his debut at the World Finals last season. The Ohio native, who has called the Phoenix, Arizona area home for the last 15 or so years, was among the stout 57 car field that signed in for the event, qualifying 17th in the first round of time trials. The current leader in the battle for the Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year Award finished a career-best 12th at The Dirt Track at Charlotte earlier this season.
Ben Gregg, Driver of the No. 2B Kronik Energy Maxim:
“I’m really looking forward to getting back to Charlotte. It’s a neat format with just having to focus on time trials the first day and then the races the next two. It’s a pretty good time there. It’s a big show and you get a lot of fans. The people that watch the Late Models and Modifieds get to watch us and vice versa. That makes for a good show as far as I’m concerned.”
The finale of the World Finals will air live on SPEED on Saturday, November 6 beginning at 8 p.m. Eastern, with Bobby Gerould on the call with Hall of Famer Brad Doty offering expert analysis.
