Albany, NY – Thomas Radivoy and Josh Pieniazek made their trips to the Albany-Saratoga Speedway and Fonda Speedway very lucrative as they swept the SuperGen Products with Champion Power Equipment CRSA Sprint Car Series invasion of New York’s Capital District.

Each event would pay the winner $1,000 courtesy of Maguire Family of Dealerships and Mike Emhoff Motorsports. Each event also paid $160 to start.

In addition to being rounds 13 and 14 of the 2018 CRSA season, the events were also the final two events in the Kennedy’s of Troy Northway 90 Challenge.

Radivoy would be victorious at Albany-Saratoga. The Circleville, New York driver took the lead early and brought the ATOR Construction machine home with the win. His drive to the checkers was not an easy one as he had to navigate slower traffic and hard challenges from Dalton Herrick, Jeff Trombley and Pieniazek.

Radivoy came home first over Herrick, point leader Trombley, Pieniazek and 2018 Land of Legends Raceway champion Darryl Ruggles. A total of 20 drivers entered the event. The event was the second appearance at the Saratoga County track this season for the CRSA.

The Magsarus Ignitions Electrifying Move of the Race Awards went to Herrick and the Powder Tech Powder Coatings Hard Charger Award went to Brandyn Griffin.

On Saturday night the CRSA Sprint Car Series traveled 45 minutes east to the Fonda Speedway. Rotterdam driver Josh Pieniazek picked up the popular win at his former home track. Pieniazek bested an extremely talented field of 21 drivers to pick up his first CRSA win of the season.

At the finish Pieniazek would take the win over Justin Mills, Trombley, Tyler Cartier and Herrick.

The Magsarus Ignitions Electrifying Move of the Race Awards went to Tyler Jashembowski and the Powder Tech Powder Coatings Hard Charger Award went to Herrick.
