Plymouth, WI, Sep. 8---Zach Boden won the 15-lap Badger 600 Micro Series presented by My RacePass feature, Saturday Night at the Plymout Dirt Track. Jack Vanderboom finished fifth in the event, capturing the season championship. Vanderboom became the sixth different champion in Badger’s eight-year history of sanctioning 600 micro racing.
Zach Donner led the first three laps, before Boden took over the lead. Boden led the remainder of the event, capturing his fifth series feature victory of the season. Dohner, former series champion Tory Strauss, Preston Ruh, Vanderboom completed the top five. Dave Collins the only other driver in contention for the championship was sidelined in a Lap 5 accident.
Scott Hatton has a “virtual lock” on the Zimbrick Chevrolet of Sun Prairie Badger Midget Racing Series title, currently holding a 116-point lead over Ryan Probst heading into the season finale event Saturday Sept. 22 "Scott Semmelmann Memorial" at Beaver Dam (Wis.) Raceway.
