Lake Odessa, MI - I-96 Speedway owner Jeff Dice and the drivers from Great Lakes Super Sprints have one thing in common...they all wanted one last sprint car race to end the season!
Since our race on Friday, August 17th was cancelled because of rain, many of our drivers were hoping to get one last race at I-96 Speedway.
I-96 Speedway will be running a two day, end of year race on October 12th and October 13th. Dice asked if we could run on either one of the those days and we said we could.
That was the easy part, the harder part was figuring out what day to run. We thought it would be nice to run on Friday, in fact we initially posted the race for Friday, October 12th. With school in session and being in the heart of Friday night Football, it was decided amongst our drivers to run a full show on Saturday, October 13th.
So mark your calenders and join us at I-96 Speedway for the last Great Lakes Super Sprints race of 2018.
