The POWRi Align Pro Lonestar 600's presented by K & K Earthworks finally catch a break from mother nature. A beautiful race day played out with 23 600's, 7 Restrictors & 6 Jr. Sprints.
Jr. Sprints hit the track. The little guys and gals brought the heat to the heat race. Close racing and passing take place. Kole Weir collects the Bush's Chicken Heat win.
Restrictors out next. Move over boys. The girls are coming for ya. Kinsley Cook sets out after her 1st W. And that she seeks it. Taking home the Bush's Chicken Heat win.
600's on deck. Nick Groeneveld gets some air. Cart wheel for the crowd. The Ultrashield Fire & Safety crew are on it. The guys have have been on the ball all night. Clearing cautions quickly. 1st red of the night. Driver checks out okay & retires to the pits to repair. Bush's Chicken heat 1 takes off & Jacob Lucas takes it. Isaiah Garcia snags the Lucas Oil Products Heat 2. And Matt McDade rounds out the Day Motorsports heat 3.

After Driver Autographs with the grand stand fans. It's go time.
Jr. Sprints out first. Kole Weir & Trevor Twardeski leads the group to the green. Kole jumps out for the lead. Twardeski knocking on the back door. Beau Chapman closing. The pack tightens. Dalten Maust and Finn McDade making head way. Camyrn Spake rounding out the field. 5 to go, Kole Weir slows & pulls towards the infield. Caution. The crew lines back up. Green is out. Twardeski out front. Chapman hunting the pass. Dalten Maust inching. 2 to go. Maust retires to the infield spewing oil. Still green. Chapman trying. Checkered flies & Trevor Twardeski parks his #27T ride in the D1 Driven Performance Midwest victory lane.
Restrictors, are you ready? The ladies of the pack, Kinsley Cook & Kamirin Cook lead the boys to the green. Jump start occurs. Front row switches positions. Green and they are rolling. Kamirin Cook leads. Christopher Townsend works his up to second. Half way he seeks the move. Makes it. And takes over first. Jayton Brown follows suit and moves into second. Kamirin Cook now in third. Kinsley Cook in fourth. 1 to go. Townsend still holding. Checkered waves and Christopher Townsend snags the D1 Driven Performance Midwest victory!!
600s, the finale awaits. A beautiful 4 wide salute to the crowd & they line it up. Raleigh Shepherd & Kevin Battarbee lead the 23 car field to the green. The entire field is in action. Slide job after slide job. Close racing action. Shepherd leads. 2-5th and beyond is changing rapidly. Caution, infield tire on the track. Back to racing. Shepherd still leads. Jacob Lucas has worked his way from 4th into 2nd. Chris Brown, first night officially racing a 600 is holding 3rd. Battling off the field. Lap traffic. Blue & yellow waves. Shepherd gets held up. Lucas spots a hole. He gets it, taking over 1st. Lucas begins to trail through traffic. Caution due to a disappearing Nick Groeneveld off of turn 2. As well, a tire jumping into the track to play. Racing resumes. Shepherd & Lucas battle it out. White flag. It's close. Almost to close. Lucas wheels the better run off of 3 & 4. The #57 Jacob Lucas collects the D1 Driven Performance Midwest victory win.
